Sharing a meal is always a worthwhile experience. The conversation flows easily going from topic to topic, sidebar comments about the food, decisions to drink or not (mostly NOT at lunch), and other such things in common. And when it is a small group it is somehow easier to speak and be heard, and there […]
Adrian’s Network holds multiple in-person events over the course of each month. While many of our events are “meals,” we often do MasterMinds, theater outings, museum jaunts, massages, and more. To say we are eclectic would be an understatement. Our in-person meetings are kept small, on purpose, so the conversation can be free-flowing, and not […]
Our eagerly anticipated pool party at Christina Shaw’s home (www.imwithshaw.com) was canceled due to rain, but our networking continued. Lunch in Christina’s kitchen, a thousand + laughs, lots of connecting, and awesome conversation made for an extremely pleasant afternoon. Nothing can stop us; certainly not a little rain!
It makes sense, right? People enjoy being social, breaking bread, sharing stories and so Adrian’s Network provides these opportunities regularly. Dinner and lunch meetings, cocktail get-togethers that grow into more than just drinks, events at people’s homes (learning how to make dumplings at Christina’s Shaw’s place comes right to mind!), pizza crawls (thank you Rob […]
A networking lunch at a waterfront restaurant complete with a blood-orange margarita. Sound perfect? It was. I love networking in a casual environment, where the conversation flows easily and the laughs are loud. A great lunch with Stephanie Larkin, Founder of Red Penguin Books.
You have to eat so why don’t you do it with some of your networking community and have the opportunity to share information, insights, and your subject matter expertise. Oh yeah, and have fun too! That’s exactly what some members of the Adrian’s Network community did yesterday, and what a productive and enjoyable lunch it […]
Small networking gatherings for breakfast, lunch or dinner can be an effective way to build relationships and develop leads and connections. When you meet with 4 or 6 people, the conversation flows easily, and the entire group can engage. It’s almost like having 5, one-to-one meetings, but without a vast expenditure of time. Try it. […]
If Your Life Was Made Into a Movie, Who Would Play YOU? This was the question posed at a recent A’s Net luncheon. The answers were interesting, and the reasons behind them, even more so. Networking IS NOT only going around a table where everyone recites “my name is, I do (fill in the blank), […]
This week I had the opportunity to have lunch with Josh Fields Josh is an experienced residential Real Estate professional, avid sports fan, lover of music, theater, good food, and enjoying life. Do you know Josh? You should. Reach out and connect.
I had a great networking lunch with A’s Netter Stephanie Larkin, Founder of Red Penguin Books. Besides eating yummy food at Small Batch, we spent almost 2 hours talking about travel and our upcoming trips, what’s on our proverbial “bucket list,” and our rules for a successful trip (i.e. NEVER checking luggage, landing and hitting […]
