There’s something special about stepping away from our usual routine and heading somewhere scenic, social, and just far enough from home to feel like a mini adventure.

That’s exactly what happened when we took some of our A’s Net community to the North Fork of Long Island for a day of connection and camaraderie and proof that some of the best business relationships are built outside the boardroom.
The Journey Out: Van Chats & Instant Bonding
Our day started with a van full of entrepreneurs ready for some business networking with a twist. The conversations kicked off the moment we pulled away from our meeting spot. From business tips to personal stories, the ride to the North Fork was half the fun and pure gold for making real connections.

Let the Drinking Begin
After a lively ride filled with laughter and introductions, we kicked off our day with a tasting at the first of three fabulous North Fork wineries. Sipping crisp whites and bold reds set the perfect tone.

Lunch with a Side of Networking
Next up after our first tasting? A leisurely North Fork lunch featuring delicious local fare and even better conversation. Ideas flowed and new alliances took shape right over the soft shell crab and flounder specials. This wasn’t just networking, it was authentic relationship-building.

Let the Drinking Continue
After a relaxing and delicious lunch, we continued our journey with two more tastings, each with its own distinct charm, atmosphere, and flavor profile. From vineyard views to clinking glasses, the experience wasn’t just about wine, it was about celebration, connection, and conversation.

The Photos Say It All
As with any great day, the photos captured the spirit of smiling faces, spontaneous laughs, and the kind of energy that makes you glad you said yes to getting out of the office.

Why It Matters
These kinds of experiences remind us that networking events don’t need to be stuffy or scripted. They can be vibrant, inspiring, and yes, located in beautiful destinations like Long Island’s North Fork wine region.
When you mix fresh air, shared experiences, and good people, you walk away with more than just leads. You build community.

Another Networking Win
With another successful outing in the books, we’re already thinking ahead to the next one. If you’re looking to grow your network in meaningful ways, beyond Zoom rooms and elevator pitches, you might want to hop in the van next time.
Until then? Keep making space for conversations that matter.
And never underestimate the power of a good field trip.
